LONG Overdue!!!

Um, hi.  For realz, people, my last post was January 27th?!  Uhhh....whoops.  So...I'm still here and stuff.  Going to preschool.  Still hitting Kindermusik.  Still swinging (literally, at parks).  You know, living the dream.  Since we have so much stuff to go over, let's get to it, eh?  Try to keep up, I've got LOTS to share!!!  ;)

Me, after Mom hit a recent really GOOD sale at Gymboree.  Hello, addiction much??  Do you SEE the hairbow??  It's a little much...

Mom's birthday was awesome.  It was over 60 degrees!  So, we hit up the park inside the soccer fields.  Since  not a lot of people know about it, we had the whole thing to ourselves, AND the soccer fields.  We had so much fun!!

Climbing up up UP!

Mom's a big fan of this one.

...and this one...

...and this one, too!!  Happy Birthday, Mama!!

In mid-February, Mom's cousins Kris and Ashley came over for dinner.  I didn't get a picture with Ashley, but here I am snuggling up with Kristopher.  I love that they live here with us!  (Well, not HERE, as in our house, but here, as in OP, you know??)

Another thing we've been up to since, like, December, which was only 100 months ago, is my Mom has a slight addiction to this website called Pinterest?  Heard of it??  I'm appreciative, because it's giving her all sort of neat ideas.  FYI, my mom has no original ideas.  Or, at least, very little.  She just steals ideas.  Beware.  All's fair in love and...mommying.  Right?!  By the way, that's something called cloud dough above.  Flour and baby oil.  VERY fun stuff.

And THIS is our indoor garden.  We hit up the dollar store and found all sorts of fun stuff to put in here.

We can't forget about Diva Day.  Mom found out a local kids' salon was doing a cheap promotion on their "Diva Days," which included an up-do, nails, and make-up for $9.99.  When will I ever get that good of a deal again?!  So, we hit it.  I loved it!!

Why yes, that is glitter.  Thank you for noticing.  ;)

Fancy, huh?  We went to Kindermusik right afterwards, and the up-do lasted for .13 seconds.  But, it was fun while it lasted!!

On February 29th, my school had an Art Fair.  My classroom studied the artist Jackson Pollock.  He is famous for something called "drip art."  Here is my class' little sign about him...

...and here is our class's display of work...

...and here is mine!  I entitled it, "Space."  (Note from Mommy:  She really did.  Ha!)

My PDO room also studied an artist.  My teachers chose Vincent Van Gogh.  Here is the piece of artwork we studied...

...and here is my rendition of the above picture.  Lovely.  ;)

And now for some March pictures.  Does this one strike a little bit of fear into your heart?!

We are tough to get a great picture of, but here am I with some of my buddies at Fish Fry, Week One  for this Lent.  My friends and I have been hitting area Catholic Church Friday Fish Fries for all of Lent.  It has been SO fun.  Seen here are Abby, Delaney, me, Danny, and Lucy.  Missing are Connor, Zach, Maura and Johnathon.  We are a BIG group!!  :)  We love our buddies!!

Here are Connor and I at the current exhibit at Crown Center.  I felt the need to be overly dramatic on the swing.  ;)

Swinging with Danny, in his Fancy Shirt.  And...my chaperone little brother.  Sigh.

And, of course, we HAD to eat at Fritz's afterwards!

More Pinterest activities.  Here I am "cooking with real food."

And one more...cheerios and spaghetti and playdo.  Try it!  It's fun!!

By the way, did you know I'm in the big kid Kindermusik class now?  It happened in February, people.  I moved up.  Mommy isn't with me for most of the time, now.  I freakin' love it.  And my teacher, Miss Amy?  I love her, too.  And, also, I love my crazy Jayhawk outfit. ;)

FINALLY (man is this a long post or what??), over St. Patrick's Day weekend, I flew to Nashville with my Mom and my grandparents for Uncle David and Megan's Engagement Party.  Here I am at KCI ready to board the plane!

We ate a honky-tonk FUN restaurant (bar) and an older gentleman, sitting with the performers and the owner, bought me this STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI in a boot!!  Mmmm....delish!!  (and just a touch on the creepy side...)

See?!  It really is a boot!!  I loved it!!!
While we were there, we got to meet Bailey, Megan's niece who is one month older than me.  We are both going to be flowergirls, and we will steal the show!!

The pampering already started, 9 months before the wedding is even here!  Here we are getting pedicures.  Ooh la la!!

Sitting pretty outside Rehearsal Dinner Possibility #1.  I thought it smelled, and I was VERY vocal about that, so Mom and I hung out outside.  We enjoyed a gorgeous downtown Nashville afternoon while Gran and Megan toured the restaurant.

Our flight home was at 6:05 Monday morning (ugh, but the best price available).  Mom and I got up at 3:30 so as to catch our shuttle and all that jazz.  One cool thing about that??  I got to drive on a road withOUT my carseat.  See, I borrowed Bailey's old one when we were there and we had already given it back before we got on the shuttle.  It was WEIRD to sit with Mommy in the back, just with a seatbelt.  Also?  We needed a Starbucks run ASAP.  Hot Mocha for Mama, hot chocolate for me!

We were at our car by 8 am!  How about a little bit of sass for you, bright and early on this morning??  Must've been the hot chocolate...

Whew, people.  I think that comes close to catching us up.  Hopefully I'll be back in less than 3 months this next time.  Happy Spring to you all!!

Lots of Love, Emily
