My New Bed!

Hi Everyone!
This past weekend my Daddy put my new bed together! I had started to think Mommy and Daddy were just kidding about what was in the big box in the hallway. I mean, it had been there since APRIL, people. Now it's FINALLY up, and I LOVE it! I especially love getting out of bed and coming to find Mommy and Daddy. But there's a rule - Mommy and I practiced and practiced it the day Daddy put my bed together. Here is the rule: I stay in my bed until my green light comes on. If the light on my new clock is red, I stay in my bed. I'm really working hard at following the rule. Here are some pictures of my bed, and a few other pictures from the same weekend. Enjoy!

My Bed!!

I love it!!

By the way, I've figured a way more fun way to play with my Tea Set - did you know if you squeeze your sippy cup, you can get water to come out of it?? This is my FAVORITE new game...

CHEESE!

Also, here's the picture of my December art projects from school. :)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone! (well, a little late, since I'm saying this on January 13th!)

I had a wonderful Christmas! Much better than my brother did, as he visited Urgent Care at Children's Mercy with double ear infections and bronchiolitis on Christmas night. :( Poor buddy. We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma Jo, eating dinner at Hereford House and then going to her house to open gifts. When we got home, Mommy and I left out a cookie for Santa, and, guess what??? He came to my house and he ATE IT! He ate the cookie!! I hope he liked it! Connor and I opened up our presents from Santa on Christmas morning, and then Daddy and I went to church with Grandma Jo. Mommy stayed home with Connor since he was sick. After church, we drove to Lawrence to celebrate Christmas at Gran and Poopaw's house. We had lots of fun there and I especially loved playing Ring Around the Rosy with Poopaw and Uncle David. The next day, we drove to Junction City to see Uncle Francis. I had such a good time at all of our Christmas celebrations! I can't wait to do it again next year!! Yay for Christmas!!

Also, Mommy said I should write in here which Christmas songs I learned this year. Mommy took a video of me singing, and we'll have to post it later. I love singing so, so much. This year I learned Silent Night, Away in a Manger, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and a little bit of Up on the Housetop and Joy to the World. Singing is so much fun!! I love it so much!

Enjoy the pictures everyone!
I love you!

Playing with my new Tea Set!

An impromptu Tea Party with Grandma Jo.

Mommy and Daddy didn't get any pictures of me opening my Santa presents, but they DID get some video of it. However, here's the aftermath of my work. And a picture of mine and Connor's new train table!

Loving on Daddy Christmas morning. :)

Ready for church, holding my Handy Dandy Notebook, which was in my stocking.

Checking out Poopaw's new Ipad, that he and Gran bought themselves for Christmas.

My HUUUGE piece of Apple Pie. Gran and Poopaw love me lots!!

Playing with Daddy on Christmas Day!

Trying out my new sleeping bag!

Ring Around the Rosy with Uncle David and Poopaw! Uncle David is silly. He talks in lots of different voices!

Chilling with Connor at Uncle Francis' house. Like our shirts?? :)

Sitting with Grandma Jo and Uncle Francis.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!!

December Update!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a nice December! I had lots of fun getting ready for Christmas. I had SO much fun learning about Santa and Baby Jesus, and singing/learning Christmas carols, and looking at Christmas lights, especially at "The Crazy House," and pretending to be "The Mean Guy" who didn't have room at the Inn. ;) I also loved listening to my Psalty Christmas Songs (Thank you Kari!) and my Stinky Feet Christmas Songs (Thank you Elizabeth, Mike and Abby!). OH! And I also watched Rudolph about 30 times this past month, AND I discovered Veggie Tales and learned about St. Nikolaus. I had a wonderful December! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!!

Here's our official Christmas Card picture!

Playing "Take a bath" with Connor. :)

Visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus at our Neighborhood Santa Celebration, complete with Sleigh Rides! (We didn't get a great picture of our fun on the sleigh, but I can tell you, they were stinky! But I still loved the ride!

Another visit with Santa at our church's Breakfast with Santa. I told Santa I wanted a train table for Christmas.

Posing with Connor at Breakfast with Santa, AGAIN. Mommy and Daddy took a lot of pictures of us. I got a little tired of saying "Cheese!" Don't I look pooped???

Posing with my very first ornament I ever made. I made this at Parent's Day Out, by rolling a marble in paint and then rolling it on paper. It was lots of fun!

Here is a close-up of my ornament.

After our last day of Kindermusik before Christmas, Mommy and I had a Tea Party! Here I am all dressed up, ready to go!

I got to use a REAL teacup, and I drank some yummy pink lemonade! I loved it! And I never spilled!

I also made sure my lemonade was properly stirred up.

See what I ate for lunch? A PB&J on a croissant, gold fish, and grapes. And a bite of Mommy's Carrot Slaw.

And yummy cake for dessert!

We had a great time!!

Also in December, I attended/threw THREE birthday parties for Baby Jesus. We don't have any pictures to share, but Mommy has decided that we will throw Baby Jesus a birthday party every year, as a special tradition. I can't wait - I LOVE Birthday Parties!! Yay!!

I'll post Christmas pictures soon.
