Happy 1 Week Birthday To Me!
Hi Everyone! Today I turned one week old! To celebrate, my mom dressed me in a my first "cute outfit from my closet," and she had me take a bottle for the first time! And, my mommy's friends swear I smiled today. My mommy's not totally convinced, but everybody else who saw it swears I did. Also, my doctor told my parents I can sleep as long as I want to, since I'm so good at gaining weight, so last night I slept for seven hours! My mom's such a dork, she got all worried about me....geez....get over it, lady. Just let me sleep and enjoy it! Oh yeah, and guess what else?? A cute boy came over to my house yesterday and today. I'm totally embarrassed because my parents need to wash my hair, but hopefully he didn't notice. His name is Zach and his mommy's name is JJ. He does this really cool moving thing called crawling. I can't wait to learn how to do that. When I learn how, maybe he and I crawl away together somewhere, like to the movies or something! Hehe! Anyway, here is a picture of me in my cute outfit. Thank you Aunt Jodi and Rita for giving it to me! I love it! :) Talk to you later!

Welcome Home, Emily!
Hi Everyone!
I just want you to know that I got to see my house today! The nice nurses and doctors said I could come home today, and that I did a great job passing all of my tests! There were a lot of other babies at the hospital, too. I was one of 17 born on Thursday - WOW!!! Also, my mom said I could share a couple details about how I came into the world. Mom and Dad checked into the hospital on Wednesday night, as planned. Hehe - I STILL wasn't planning on showing up anytime soon! They gave my mom some medicine at about 10:30 that night, and man, whatever they gave her really started making things weird in here. I started getting all squeezed and everything! She said she didn't sleep at all that night because it started to hurt so bad. They gave her another medicine called Pitocin at about 8:00 in the morning, and, don't tell anyone, but when they gave her THAT I started hearing her say some bad words, everytime I got squeezed! But, then they gave her this thing called an epidural, and she calmed down a lot. For me, though, I really started getting all sqeezed out, and by 11:15 the nurses asked my family members to leave the room so my mom could push me out. She didn't have to push for too long, which she said she was really glad about. She was also really happy about how quickly I decided to come. But, man, I didn't have a choice once they gave her the medicine! My parents EVICTED me!! But, I guess they're still cool......
Can't wait to meet everyone!

My Mom is a STAGE MOM already!!
I think my mom is already a Stage Mom! She is already taking videos of my tricks and showing them to people. Like, this video for instance. She thinks it's funny, but she doesn't know how TIGHT it is in here! And then when she drinks smoothies, it just makes me want to S-T-R-E-T-C-H!!! Be patient - it takes me a few seconds to get going!
Wanna See My Room?
Here are some pictures of my room! I think it's sooo pretty! This first picture is my crib and my changing table. Do you like the dragonflies?
Here is another corner of my room. Can you see my Aloha Kitty from Uncle Dan and Aunt Wendi? And my favorite KU books? I'm going to KU someday, you know. Rock Chalk! See the picture of the airplane? My friend Caylen's daddy painted that!
And then here is another side of my room. That is my new KU hat hanging on the wall! I hope you enjoyed seeing pictures of my room!

My Due Date - A Day in the Past
Hi Everyone! My due date has now come and gone, but I'm fully content staying where I am for now! It's really nice and cozy in here, and my Mom keeps getting me ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery and also some really yummy, juicy peaches, so I think I'll stay here for a little while longer! Also, I heard that my Dad really wants to watch the Olympics while he's home with me, and the longer I stay in here, the more Olympics he can watch! I did hear that I'm getting evicted on July 24, if I don't decide to come earlier. That's ok - I guess by then I'll be ready to come. Looking forward to meeting you, world!
