I'm Running for President!

My GREAT Uncle Francis has convinced me to run for President! It'll be tough, seeing that I'm a month old, but I think the country is ready for me! The first things I'll do are to make sure everyone gets at least two naps a day and I'll give a vibrating bouncy seat to everyone, because they are so fun! Everyone will be so happy then! Good Morning World!!

Man, waking up in the morning is so much fun! It's so exciting to think of all the fun things I'm going to do during the day, like eat, poop, sleep - my favorite things! Meeting New Family Members

Over the past two weeks I've met some new family members. I drove to Junction City (well, my parents and Grandma Jo helped - I'm too little to drive myself yet...) a few weeks ago to meet my Great Uncle Francis. Then the next weekend, my Uncle David flew in from Arizona to see me. Here are some pictures of me with them!

Emily's Newborn Video

Someone TAKE AWAY the camera from my Mom!

Ok, so picture this. I'm TRYING to get my beauty sleep. But everytime I nod off, my mom puts me in some get up and lays me on these black sheets and I keep hearing this annoying clicking sound and she's all in my face and stuff! I wish she would just let me sleep! But, here are some pictures from our little "session." Have to admit, I do like the Jayhawk stuff. The shirt is from my Great Uncle Francis. I'm 3 Weeks Old Today!

Hi Everyone! Today I am 3 weeks old! Today my daddy had to go back to work. I miss him lots. I am staying at home with mommy now, which I guess is ok, but it was more fun with my daddy here too.

My mom read somewhere that tummy time is a good thing for me. But, geez woman, can you wait till I'm a LITTLE bit older?? I can't breathe!! :)

Here I am with my Gran, who looooves to play dress-up! I'm modeling one of the super-cute outfits that had just come in the mail from my friend, Andrew. (He may have had help picking them out from his mommy, Dena.)

My mommy went out to dinner with some friends last Saturday, and here is how my dad got ready to baby-sit me! He's so silly.....

You Know Breastfeeding is Going Well When....

....your child, who is sleeping down the hall, wakes you from a dead sleep with the sound of her filling her diaper, and you hear it WITHOUT THE USE OF A MONITOR! (think about it - that's one sonic boom!)

The most hilarious part of this though, when you go to check on said child, they are oblivious to what they just did and are sleeping soundly in their crib. Ridiculous.....
